Following leaks that Verdansk’s anticipated return to Warzone has been delayed, new data has surfaced explaining why the decision to bring back Verdansk was made within the first place — and it’s all thanks to Fortnite.

Verdansk was Warzone’s first-ever map, with it nonetheless being a fan favourite for a lot of nostalgic battle royale gamers. First showing in March 2020, the map was changed in December 2021 by Caldera. Since then, it has not featured in the principle recreation, although Verdansk is playable in Warzone Cellular.
